Yoon Ahn’s design of the Nike Dunk High is giving some futuristic vibes. But what’s the story behind the design? Did you know that the design of the Nike Dunk High Ambush is inspired by the Japanese car, bicycle, motorbike and truck culture? The big swoosh that protrudes over the shoe for example, is inspired by the pipe on a motorbike.
The Nike Dunk High x Ambush came in four different colorways. Let's take a closer look at these different colors.
Nike Dunk High Ambush Black and White
In November 2020 the first Nike Dunk High x Ambush released. It was the black and white colorway and they were an instant success. Besides the Nike Dunk High, Yoon Ahn also released a NBA apparel collection, as you can see on the pictures.
Nike Dunk High Ambush Active Fuchsia
The second colorway of the Nike Dunk High Ambush was the Active Fuchsia colorway. They released this year, in February.
Nike Dunk High Ambush Deep Royal
The third colorway of the Nike Dunk High x Ambush was the Deep Royal colorway. It may be the post popular colorway of all.
Nike Dunk High Ambush Flash Lime
The last colorway is the Nike Dunk High Ambush Flash Lime. It’s almost impossible to miss this bright colorway. As you can see on the pictures, the Nike Dunk High Ambush Flash Lime also came together with an apparel collection.
